The year-end school holiday is finally here! Since year-end holiday is considered the peak season for travelling, a price hike is to be expected. You’d find hotel rooms and flight tickets getting more expensive than off seasons.
If you’ve spent a fortune on accommodation and transportation, you could still enjoy your family holiday by visiting tourist attractions with affordable entrance fees or free entrance. The trick is to do some research about your chosen destination.

Even the adults would love being here! Aside from the interactive exhibits about chocolate where you can learn more about the creation and revolution of chocolate, there are plenty of life-size replicas and scenic 3D art walls for visitors to take photos.
There are also workshops on how to make and decorate chocolate for everyone. There are two museums here, and you may enter Museum 1 for free.

Learn everything there is to know about money and personal finance. There are six galleries to explore: Art Gallery, Numismatics Gallery, Islamic Finance Gallery, Bank Negara Malaysia Gallery, Economics Gallery, and Children’s Gallery.
Don’t miss the interesting workshops about personal finance. Also, in conjunction with school holiday, there’s a Children’s Festival happening now until December 15. There are also free talks about fintech for the public.

Check out the entire city of Kuala Lumpur in a smaller version! The city’s amazing miniature replica is a sight to behold. There are also DIY workshops where you can build your own miniature of a famous landmark in the city, like the Petronas Twin Towers.
